This month’s featured home coffee machine isn’t your typical 1-group semi-automatic espresso machine.
It’s the Drip Master A by THE GABI, officially released in March 2016 — a power-free, semi-automatic drip brewer that adopts the same shower screen technology used in espresso machines.

“Drip Master A” stands for Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere — a concept that defines its simplicity and accessibility.

Equipped with a patented shower screen with 16 precision-drilled holes, the Drip Master A evenly disperses 150ml of water in about 2 minutes (for 1 serving), or 300ml in 4 minutes (for 2 servings), ensuring consistent and flavorful hand-drip coffee at home.

While home espresso machines continue to evolve alongside their commercial counterparts, hand-drip tools have seen less innovation—until now. With the release of Drip Master A, the home brewing scene may be entering a new era.

And here’s the surprise: despite its semi-automatic features and power-free operation, it retails for around just 50,000 KRW (approx. $40 USD).
